THORO successfully planned, designed, and constructed the collective Danish Pavilion, 'House of Danish Design,' at the Living Fair.
Designed as a central hub for premium Danish furniture brands, the pavilion masterfully captures the essence of Scandinavian minimalism and the cozy spirit of 'Hygge' through a grand, pristine warm-white facade.
At the base of this minimalist backdrop, a tactile, unrefined arrangement of wild greenery and delicate branches is artfully integrated, symbolically reflecting Denmark’s deeply rooted commitment to a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.
By embracing negative space and stripping away redundant ornamentation, this understated gateway serves as a sophisticated prelude that allows the distinct design identities of each participating furniture brand to shine and harmonize within the space.

북유럽 특유의 정제된 미니멀리즘과 따뜻한 ‘휘게(Hygge)’ 정서를 직관적으로 전달하기 위해, 여백의 미가 돋보이는 정갈한 웜화이트 톤의 대형 파사드를 전면에 내세웠습니다.
심플한 벽면 하단에는 인위적인 가공을 최소화한 듯한 내추럴한 플랜테리어(조경)를 매치하여, 자연 친화적이고 지속 가능한 덴마크의 라이프스타일을 시각적으로 위트 있게 표현했습니다.
시각적 자극을 걷어내고 본질에 집중한 이 게이트웨이는 파빌리온 내부에 집결한 다양한 가구 브랜드들의 고유한 개성이 유기적으로 돋보이도록 중심을 잡아주는 감각적인 안내자 역할을 합니다.
